By submitting a form on this site, booking a guest time, or sending a Bench check-in, you consent to GenX Detention Club collecting and using the personal information you provide as described below and in our Privacy Policy. Contact: james@genxdetention.club.

What you are consenting to

You agree that we may collect and use:

Identity & contact: name, preferred show name, email, phone, timezone.
Guest prep: school/year, story and Mad Libs answers, availability, live/camera preferences, topic preferences, and other details you choose to share for hosting the conversation.
Booking: appointment details processed through Microsoft Bookings (name, email, phone, selected time).
The Bench: nickname, check-in text, optional mood, posting permission, and crisis yes/no (used only to show help resources — not as a monitored hotline).
Technical: basic site/security logs from our host (Cloudflare).

How we use it

Schedule, prepare, record, edit, and publish guest conversations and related clips (unless we agree otherwise in writing before recording).
Email or message you about your submission, booking, tech check, or follow-up.
Keep production notes (for example host briefs / cards) needed to run the show.
For The Bench: review check-ins and, if you said yes, post them in our private peer group.
Prevent spam, abuse, and technical problems.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who helps us process it

Cloudflare (hosting), Web3Forms (form email delivery), Microsoft 365 / Bookings (scheduling and related mail under genxdetention.club), and recording tools such as Riverside when you join a session. Their services apply to data they process.

Recording & publishing (guests)

If you book or appear as a guest, you consent to audio/video recording of the session and to our editing and publishing of that material on GenX Detention Club channels (for example YouTube and social platforms), including short clips, unless we agree otherwise before recording.

Your choices

You can skip optional fields.
You can email us to correct or delete information we still control, or to withdraw consent for future use where the law allows (we may still keep what we need for a completed booking or already-published episode).
Bench check-ins marked “No” to posting will not be shared as a normal group post.

I consent to GenX Detention Club collecting and using my name, email, phone, and booking/form details to schedule and produce guest conversations (including Microsoft Bookings and related email), and to process my data as described in the Privacy Policy and Data Consent pages at genxdetention.club.
